We got this 1971 Super Beetle
(1302) in New Orleans, LA a few months before hurricane Katrina hit.
What a find. Needed a lot of work but was in very sound shape. We spent about 2 years restoring it to near stock condition with some small mods. Its a great daily driver and a fun weekend car. Also below is our 1987 Cabriolet. I got this for my wife because its automatic but my son uses it to go back and forth to college. Lot of fun! We recently entered both VWs in a local bug show. Both won "1st In Class". |
