  ( from  John 20:19-31)
Thomas was a commercial fisherman, he grew up around the Sea of Galilee.  Jesus called him and he followed for three years. But Thomas was a pessimist. Some people rejoice to see a glass half full, but Thomas saw it half empty.
Soon, his world fell apart. Thomas saw Jesus arrested in the Garden of Gethsemane and he fled for his life. On Good Friday he watched at a distance as his friend was nailed to a cross.  As Jesus' life drains away, so does Thomas's hope.
On the following Sunday he was so saddened that he didn't gather with his fellow disciples for an evening meal. The next morning, the disciples went looking for Thomas to tell him what had happened in his absence.
"Thomas, we were in that upper room where we'd been meeting. We lock the doors for protection. Yet, all of a sudden, Jesus appears. 'Peace be with you,' he said. He showed us his hands and side. There are holes where the nails had been and where the spear penetrated his side. He is raised from the dead!"
Thomas was afraid to believe. "I don't believe it," yells Thomas. You're seeing what you want to see. Jesus is dead. I saw him die. Unless I see the nail marks in his hands and put my hand into his side, I will not believe it."
A week later his disciples were again in the house, and Thomas was with them. Although the doors were shut, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you.”  Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here and see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it in my side. Do not doubt but believe.”
Then Thomas fell to his knees and said in awe, "My Lord and my God!"
"Doubting Thomas", as he is sometimes called, is the first disciple to put into words the truth that Jesus is both Lord and God. "Doubting Thomas" utters the greatest confession of faith recorded anywhere in the Bible.
Jesus replied, "Because you have seen me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed."

"Doubting Thomas" is a Roman Catholic Christian Band of young musicians in middle Georgia
under the support of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church in Kathleen Georgia. The band is produced and managed by Moulliet Productions.

Just as Thomas would not believe, we all tend to not believe unless we experience it first hand. In that way we are all a "Doubting Thomas".

Our mission is to bring the message of "FAITH" to all people, young and old, through the universal language of music.
